Hello community,
This is about an old house with damp floors in the living area.
The house is from the sixties, is not basemented, and has a concrete slab floor.
The whole issue becomes noticeable through damp spots
in the carpet, which of course also smells accordingly.
Since at the moment there is no money available for a complete renovation of the floor,
I am looking for a solution for the next two years.
What can I do with the floor so that the moisture does not enter the living space? Which floor covering makes sense after treating the floor?
Thank you very much in advance.
