Yes, that's true, it's more about the raw concrete ceiling. I wanted to counteract the slipping of the support timbers by temporarily screwing battens across the timbers. This is essential since I will also be installing electrical wiring and heating pipes in the structure.

So today I had the last clarifying discussion with a specialist. This is exactly how we will do it.

Lay out the foil.
Level roof battens with 9-12% moisture content using wedges and screw directly into the concrete. Then the bulk material about 2.2 m3 on 26 m2. Then screw 22 mm OSB with glued tongue and groove onto the battens.

: Then you have misinterpreted the post from . He means a floating installation of the bearing timbers and a screwing of the OSB panels onto the timbers.

Which trade does your specialist belong to? And did he say anything about the issue of piercing the vapor barrier mentioned by ? And why does he recommend loose fill instead of mineral wool insulation?

The questions are out of interest, not because I presume to see this as wrong.

He is an expert in everything related to wood. He has already built a similar construction for 2 other people and it has held up to this day.

The slats are screwed so that they cannot warp or bend.

Osb screwed and glued to prevent creaking and warping.

Filling only from personal experience.

I will bring up the issue with the vapor barrier again.
