First impression Division or question regarding walls of the upper floor

We have not built yet. Among many people we asked what they would like to change, two things came up often:

1. Everything on one level (no, they were not 60+ years old ).
2. Larger storage room/technical room if there is no basement.

The rest of what I would "criticize" is rather subjective. Therefore, it wouldn't help you further.

Regarding 1. a slightly wider staircase so a stairlift can be installed, and then I see the issue quite relaxed.

Regarding 2. A small storage room on the ground floor is enough for me. Because I will basement the whole thing (since the layout is initially less important down there than upstairs, I don't have any sketches for it yet).

How many walls can a ceiling that is cantilevered underneath support in the upper floor?

It also depends on the roof how the interior walls in the upper floor are built at all. And not only because load-bearing walls are best aligned vertically - but also for the same reason regarding wet rooms (which you did not consider here) - it makes sense to start with the upper floor. All in all, quite a lot of information is still missing; it’s best if you first create an introduction thread, and a floor plan topic should always begin with the completed questionnaire.

You are right about that. It looks similar. Yes, it is supposed to go in the style of a city villa. Regarding wet rooms: Does that rather refer to the advantage concerning the installation of pipes?
