Fingerprint door opening system

has anyone of you installed a fingerprint door opening system or is planning to and can recommend some good systems/manufacturers?

I will most likely install one from Ekey. A friend of mine has one and it works very reliably for him. I will also get it separately and not together with the front door. This is because the manufacturer Groke does have a cable connection between the fingerprint sensor and the control unit, but it is only for power supply. The actual data is transmitted wirelessly.

We have a Köster front door and the associated scanner. So far no problems. It should only be secured separately (FI).

Thank you very much for your quick reply. Ah okay, I have already looked at "Ekey" as well. One question, which model does your friend have exactly? Because with ekey there are really big price differences between the models haha :)

Ah okay. How long have you had this front door? I read on the internet that these fingerprint door openers sometimes start having problems after 3-4 years :)

I don’t know exactly which model he has. But it always depends on whether you want it surface-mounted or flush-mounted and whether it should match a specific manufacturer of door intercom systems or switch programs. Unfortunately, I also don’t know which one I have in mind at the moment. Then you have to know whether you only want to open the front door or also the garage door with a different finger. Or if you want to have an RFID chip. There is quite a bit more to consider. I don’t know if the pure fingerprint scanner technically differs much from the different models.
