Nothing generalized. Children cost. Loss of income and general expenses. Nothing generalized, I have 2 sitting at home

With probably around €5,500 net (one part-time plus child benefit), regular long-distance trips like to Australia or Chile are really not possible. Generally, vacations are definitely possible though. There’s no need to spread false fear here, as sometimes comes across in your posts. Of course, with kids you have to look more carefully at what’s possible and what’s not, but to flat out say "then vacations are only possible in the garden" is nonsense. Says someone who also has kids at home....

Quite a lot is possible. Says someone with three children who have already seen several continents.

Hello everyone,

First of all, I (thread starter) have to briefly mention that I had to change my username because it did not comply with the forum rules. Sorry about that. I was not aware. Thank you very much for the feedback and opinions. So, we will definitely remain childless biological violence. If I look at our income in relation to the rate, additional costs, and maintenance reserves, I think it should also work. This is also with regard to the current warm rent plus savings plan. It is quite an important life decision. I rather have the small "problem" of having to borrow 450k. But apparently this is "normal" for such projects. As I said, even if there are concerns/suggestions regarding the salary, just let me know. I / we are happy and grateful for every opinion.

Best regards Phil

430k loan is nothing with your income. The liabilities are offset by a higher value with the property. So in terms of the amount, it’s no drama.

Our loan is higher with less income and desire to have children. We plan the installment roughly comparable, but want to pay an additional €1,000/month with special repayments during the period without children.

What exactly should be a problem for you?
