Yes, he lives off commission. I don’t know why my suggestion is laughed at so much with this ironic response. With us, it worked wonderfully; we even went to several advisors, free of charge. A bank also does this for free and, of course, wants to conclude contracts just like a financial advisor. This is only about an analysis, not about loan offers. Maybe it’s different from place to place, but that’s why there is the request here, so that Kiri can pick out the suitable one.

It sounded like you thought it was the best for YOU and that it would also be free. I just wanted to say that they don't necessarily have YOUR best interests in mind.
