You know this. It looks like it was meant to be but isn’t. For that reason, just have the panels glued and that’s that. Then it will still look like a monolithic wall after decades.

Why? Of course, consumption depends on the user. With double the ERT, consumption should also be double with the same user. Since 17,x is a relatively low value, one would expect relatively low heating costs, wouldn't one?
