What kind of stupid device do they have? Usually, soil displacement hammer devices are equipped with a reverse gear. Leave it in, buy a new one and off you go. These things aren’t so expensive that you’d want to undermine an entire house because of them.

Cut off, leave it in, and try again. Ultimately, it’s not your problem anyway, you are just the client. How they save their part I wouldn’t care about, but I wouldn’t let everything be undermined...

Without approval from the structural engineer and [Beweissicherungssicherung] I would not have allowed them to proceed one millimeter further.

The device is apparently from Bulgaria, just like the company. I spoke with the site manager. He will come to take a look tomorrow and then we will clarify how to proceed. As long as I do not give my consent, no further digging will take place there. A new attempt is not necessary since the fiber optic cable is already at the destination. It's just that their earth rocket has crawled further under the house.

This would basically clarify the liability question of who bears the costs if something goes wrong during digging up...

Yes, let them proceed like that in Bulgaria. Who is the client? The pink giant?
