Hopefully the search term "11ant semi-detached house" will save me from having to repeat my hate speeches against the absurd idea of building semi-detached houses separately in full text ;-)What do you mean by that?
There will always be people who think that (mining) engineers can't fail. "We can do it," as the Chancellor lady would say ;-)
But in reality, excavating a basement with a 90° slope angle is a "challenge" for someone who has killed father and mother. It looks easypeasy when drawn with a set square, but try doing that. The practical consequences of building a semi-detached house right on the boundary line are usually not understood by naive prospective builders.
Even in the "simpler" case where either both (or only the first builder) build a basement, what separate planners mean for the coordination of the buildings (absolute heights of rooms / parapets / lintels / eaves / ridges, etc.) is still underestimated. The result is almost always a crooked overall ensemble.
You just have to imagine once that each of your right and left leg has its own separate brain. And now let's mentally set off *ROTFL*
Anyone who sells semi-detached house -half plots -so separated can hopefully already recognize the nonsense just from reading - to individual builders is a cynical hardcore fool.
The development of this type of plot is only suitable for developers.
