Facade paint - which shade of white?

Hello everyone,

we are currently building a single-family house with a gable roof in anthracite and anthracite-colored windows. The facade color is supposed to be classic white. However, I find this bright white (I believe it is called RAL 9016 "Traffic White") too glaring.
Have you given any thought to the exact shade and/or did you have a selection? If so, which ones?
So far, the documents only say white everywhere.
The facade structure is ETICS and then a tinted decorative plaster is applied as a final layer.
The garage-carport combination is also in white and anthracite. There it is Traffic White. Would you then choose a different shade for the house at all (if possible)?
Are there optical or other reasons for one or the other shade of white?

I am curious if this was a topic for you and what your considerations were or what advice you would have. Thank you!

Do you think you can get paint in RAL 9016 at all? Mostly or I always believe it is rather 9010. This is due to the pigments; producing 9016 with permanent UV resistance is hardly feasible.

I would have to find that out. I will still talk to the facade builder about what is actually possible. Just wanted to find out in advance what options there are and what the pros and cons are.

Take the white without extra charge. As light as possible. It changes anyway over time. It won’t matter later either when it gets streaky or greenish. It is actually completely overrated.

Thank you, in the end there were only two shades of white :p I chose pure white, the other would have been cooler/brighter. But on such a small color sample you might still see the difference, on the house wall over a large area probably not anymore. Especially when weather influences are added in a few years.
