Well, we had 2-3 weeks of the deepest winter nationwide here, so there’s no need to guess much.

If there is ice and snow on the shutter, you keep your hands off the switch. Or at least don’t operate it unattended/automatically, so you can turn it off quickly.

Thank you for your answers. So according to the acceptance, we should have received an instruction manual in which the frost issue is mentioned, but well, either lost or never received. I still find it outrageous to sell such pre-war models for a lot of money nowadays. Well, when building a house, you don't look at the roller shutter motors, but trust the provider. So a tip for all new homeowners.

It's just a matter of cost. With the final shutdown, it simply costs more.

The receipt of the documents should be acknowledged. The contractor should prove that you have received the instructions.
