Why do you want to get an expert who is only specialized in painting and decorating? Take one without restrictions, otherwise you will be doing it twice. It's a shame that my thread was deleted, apparently someone didn't like it. I had shared my construction experiences with our semi-detached house. The window sealing was done 4 times with us. Now it is fine. At the moment, the entire drywall of 400 sqm is being removed because 1. the vapor barrier was not properly sealed and 2. the substructure was installed terribly. It really hurts when the containers fill up, but better now than after moving in. One ceiling panel was even installed with only a single screw, that is really crazy. It would have come down at the latest when painting. One can only ask oneself, is this professional incompetence or malice. Don't move in thinking that this would be equivalent to an acceptance inspection. Our planned move-in date was November 2020.

Thank you for your contributions! I have been reading along, but was not logged in. Between holiday work and other things, there was simply a lot going on and hardly a quiet moment. On top of that, my wife has no understanding for spending time with a forum. But your answers prove the opposite and are helpful.
