Phew, really few options. Within about a 40-minute drive, there are actually only 2 alternatives. East Berlin, on the other hand, seems to be a gathering point for experts o_O

Have now received feedback via this Bauexperts page. Nice gentleman, price is all clear so far. If I google him, however, he is a building energy consultant. Should that still be okay?

If you have a good feeling, go ahead. We had an expert specializing in structural engineering/construction execution, also a damage assessor. We considered few construction errors more important than the last decimal place of the house's energy balance.

Haha, yes us too. That's why I was uncertain about the focus on building energy consultants. But we'll go with that now. If it's useless, then we'll just stick to the one appointment and at least the construction manager knows that we also take a closer look (or have someone do so).

With us, all construction workers knew, inspections are carried out here and work was done accordingly precisely. The expert informed us that the company builds very well and the house turned out to be of very high quality. Inform the general contractor now that inspections are being carried out, he will then order his people around, because doing something twice is not factored in.
