In addition, they are significantly lighter in weight than the solid boards. And they come in such nice wide sizes. I installed 18.5 cm ones.Hollow chamber WPC is apparently not so susceptible to heat in summer!

Unfortunately no personal WPC experience, but have never seen it used as an entrance platform either
Is your entrance weather-protected? I would have serious concerns regarding slipperiness/slip hazard in rain, snow, or ice
I would also not want to subject the material too much to grit and snow shovel use

The entrance platform can simply be swept. Although with the small area, I would prefer to check if there is still a leftover stock of floorboards made of high-quality wood somewhere.
