Experiences with DEVK Construction Financing

Does anyone happen to have done construction financing with DEVK and can share their experiences? Unfortunately, I can't find any reviews online. I'm curious if there is anyone...

Does DEVK mediate or do you conclude contracts there? Insurers are increasingly involved in traditional construction financing. We are with Signal Iduna, also a traditional insurer. Had the best conditions and satisfied after 5 years.

DEVK only finances up to 80% and is also quite strict when determining the loan-to-value ratio. So only get excited when you actually have a contract in your hands. The conditions in the long-term area =>20 years are, however, very good. In particular, the surcharges from, for example, 20 to 25 years are a breeze.

That is probably true. The bond markets are blown up and nothing comes from municipal loans.

Well, then I guess we have to wait and see what the conditions will end up being. We had an initial conversation with DEVK where we recorded all the facts, but without a Schufa inquiry and without submitting an application. We'll see.

Do you know when the Schufa inquiry will take place? Do you get the binding offer with the final interest rates beforehand on the condition that the Schufa entries have to be acceptable? My concern is that if the conditions turn out to be too unfavorable and we still have to talk to another bank, the new bank won't see a Schufa inquiry. That might not be so advantageous for us.
