I’m not going to put my money into a blocked account? That is the worst possible way.

I don’t really understand the fuss either.
Our bank paid for the property, then the promised equity had to be provided. Only after that was verifiably done could we draw the remaining loan.

If we hadn’t provided the equity, the construction simply wouldn’t have continued because the bank wouldn’t have paid anything.
It’s beyond me why someone has to put the money into a blocked account for that.
