I hope someone can help me. We intend to buy a plot of land. On the right side, 15m away, there is an infiltration basin. Does anyone know what needs to be considered there or whether it starts to smell? Can the plot be bought with peace of mind?

there is also an infiltration basin near my parents’ place. I haven’t noticed any odors there so far.

However, I can imagine that it might be a bit more animal-friendly there. If it is somewhat wetter in the area, frogs could settle there. They like to put on a concert. In addition, I can imagine that there might be an increased mosquito population near the infiltration basin.

By the way: Maybe the admin could change the headline. I seriously wondered what a "Versicherungsbecken" is :confused:.
