Is it actually allowed to install a ventilation system with humidity control (because of laundry) in the utility room with a gas condensing boiler (Buderus GB 162)?
I thought so too. but purely theoretically. if the house is built airtight, at maximum ventilation operation, will it somehow affect the condensing boiler? I think, however, that modern systems are tested by the manufacturer for this matter...
Where does the boiler get the combustion air from? That would be a first approach for the further questions. In case of doubt, the [Kollege Schornsteinfeger] decides.
A modern condensing boiler is operated with LAS (air-flue chimney).
There is also no regulation for ventilation in the utility room. We do have one there, but it was not a requirement. In our utility room (which is small, yet we still dry laundry there), among other things, a Buderus GB172 is operated.
