I have seen that already, but you also have to water them.

Ah, I see what you mean. Another reason to choose something low-maintenance. But basically, I can also water by walking around on the roof, it doesn't have to be from the [DT].

Regarding sun protection, you definitely need to look for something that can withstand wind on the 7th floor and in Hamburg. A regular sunshade quickly gives up there. You probably need to look more towards the gastronomy sector, as you certainly want to be able to shade a larger area. Alternatively, an awning with a wind sensor, but I’m not sure how much those can withstand. And the [Teilungserklärung/Gestaltungssatzung o.ä.] must also allow it.

Bamboo, as sun, wind, and privacy protection
Planters with red Japanese maple,
Small water garden
Pergola with rope tension awning

An acquaintance moved from the single-family house with a plot directly on the Rhine to a penthouse apartment in downtown Cologne - with a roof terrace. He told me he is now more often in the garden. A matter of preference.

[A QUOTE="hampshire, post: 333704, member: 46205"] A friend moved from the single-family house with a plot directly on the Rhine to a penthouse apartment in downtown Cologne – with a roof terrace. He told me that today he spends more time in the garden. Matter of preference. [/QUOTE] I don't understand
