Yep novo, that's exactly how I see it too. Be sure to pay attention to the company and ask how long the company has been around and how many moves they have already done. Then I would also ask about the most senior employees and ask if they can do your move, because experience definitely matters.

I would definitely make sure it is stated in the contract that the company is liable for damages! Otherwise, you might end up having to pay for it..

Hm...everything always went well for me. Stickers with "Achtung Wertvoll, bitte vorsichtig" or simply informing each individual carrier and driver have paid off for me.

Hello! I think you are safest on the move when you transport a valuable item yourself. -Renting a van or borrowing a bus or something similar from acquaintances..
