Electricity for the garden / garden house or lighting elements?

Hi everyone!

We are still in the middle of planning and of course want to plan as much as possible in advance so we don’t have to dig everything up again later... :)

I still have no idea what kind of garden house it will be or when we will realize it, but I am pretty sure that you should run a cable from the fuse box to the possible location of the garden house beforehand.
But how do I handle possible lighting elements in the garden? If I then later branch off cables from the garden house, I could only switch them from the garden house...
Or would it be better to pull several cables, e.g. one non-switchable for the garden house and one (switchable at the patio door) also into the garden house and branch off from there?

Attached is a sketch of the garden.

Thanks in advance
Marvin

Wireless socket/switch would also be an option. Or a garden distribution box like that.

Important for the planning is also the total cable length for the corresponding cross-section of the cable. Of course, one should also know which devices (load) are to be operated on the supply line.

I would run a line to the garden shed; you can set a distributor later and one under the terrace where you can also set a distributor.

I did the same and operate a pump and stuff in the garden shed.
At the terrace, 4 LED spots, a fountain, and four glowing spheres.
But the most important thing is the cable to the garden shed, because afterwards you will only regret not laying it right away, as you always need power there sometimes.

OK, thanks already! So two outputs should be enough...? One for the garden shed (lights + sockets) and the other then via a switch in the house for the garden lighting.

I don't know what the [Funksteckdosen] are supposed to bring? Connect the garden lighting to it with the Schuko plug? (The kids will definitely have fun with that!)

The terrace is clear anyway, those are just normal wall outlets!

How exactly does the cable even go out of the house? Shouldn't it be under the floor slab? I mean, you don't just drill through the exterior wall... :)

Well, your input was: You have constant power in the garden shed but don't want to walk over there to switch it.
My suggestion: Connect a switchable socket or wireless switch to the constant power, then you can control the light from the terrace with the remote control. I don't understand why the kids should have more fun with that than with a fixed switch on the terrace. Both would switch the light on and off.
Anything is possible, this was just probably the most cost-effective solution and you can manage with what is currently available.
