We recently had the electrical sampling. The following plan was created, unfortunately no furniture is drawn in, so I additionally attached a floor plan with furniture. This is the first time we are doing something like this. I would like to hear your opinion on it, I am sure you have valuable feedback and some food for thought for me.

I am still unsure especially in the areas of the kitchen, main bathroom, and stairwell.

About the house:
- 3 floors: basement + ground floor + upper floor
- all 3 floors approx. 258 sqm living area
- ceiling height ground floor + upper floor approx. 2.55 m
- ceiling height basement approx. 2.38 m

Question:
Should I really make 5 ceiling outlets (lights) in the kitchen? Although a lot of light is needed, I could imagine it's a bit too much.
What do you think about the wall outlets in the stairwell?
If the room is at least 16 sqm, I always planned 2 ceiling outlets. Do you think it is also necessary if the room is e.g. 16.5 sqm?
Should I have a cable installed for illuminated washbasins?
Is a 50mm empty conduit sufficient for photovoltaics?

I am not convinced by the lighting design. Typically, wall lamps are sensible and besides that, one should also carefully consider the lighting design. A good lighting design makes a huge difference. We were happy to spend a high three-figure amount on it.

The switches for the roller shutters are very impractical next to the windows. We have bundled all switches for one room in one place.

I am also not convinced by the planning.

In the kitchen, I don't see any sockets at all and the ceiling outlets should preferably be located above the countertop, so that a rail system or spotlights for countertop lighting can be used there.

Bedroom ... the wall to the children's room has no socket ... leading to the saying, generally every wall should have at least one socket, even if you currently can't imagine any use for it. But the bedroom could have cabinet lighting. I would also provide TV/Cat7 connection on the wall, even if there is currently no intention to use anything there. But someone might get sick, bedridden, etc., and then there is at least an appropriate connection.

In the bedroom, I would always plan so that ceiling lights and bedside lamps can be switched both from the bed and from the door.
Waking up in the winter morning, turning on the light at the bedside table, getting up, gathering things and leaving the room while turning off the light at the door. And vice versa in the evening ;)

Photovoltaics 50 series is enough - it should be exclusively for that. I currently have only two strings, considering adding a third one. Having a reserve is good.

Kitchen: Definitely ceiling outlets above the countertops and any potential table. Endless sockets, also at possible seating positions, whether for toaster or phone charging.

In the living room, I have installed everything I need for the TV at two possible positions - I have already used it. In the basement, I partially installed only one ceiling outlet per room, which was a bad idea; it was a massive hassle afterwards to mount three lamps nicely (!) there.

In my music room, I laid dedicated, directly routed cables (thus half the cable length) with a larger cross-section from the distribution to the amplifiers. In the garage, a really thick cable for a possible electric car.

I have laid reserve cables under the roof for possible spotlights, in the basement simply in all drain pipe enclosures as well as in every WC a cable for possible high-tech toilets. Wherever I might want to hang artwork, a wall outlet opposite.

In my house, I have a total of 16 satellite sockets, 25 speaker runs, and 120 network ports. That is definitely overkill, but I have already used surprisingly many of them and above all: You just don’t know beforehand which ones you will never use after 40 years.

In the next house, I would separate lighting and sockets. Everything that lights escape routes, I would protect separately.

We currently don't have any wall lamps in our apartment. It certainly looks stylish, but I am not quite sure how to position them. Do you have any ideas?

For the electrician, it is most practical if the roller shutter switches are directly next to the window. The electrician told us that with the smart home system, surface-mounted switches can also be installed and everything can be controlled via tablet or phone.

There is a separate plan for the kitchen sockets. (Kitchen plan) Sorry, I forgot to mention that. I will upload it shortly...

Adding another socket on the bedroom wall will be done. Honestly, I don’t see the need for CAT7. I can handle that via Wi-Fi, and there is a socket already set in the corner near the bedside table. Placing a TV socket there also makes sense. You are right, we currently have no use case for these sockets. ;)

Regarding the switches to control ceiling lights and bedside lights both from the bed and the door: where would you position them? We currently have a 1.6m bed. There are larger beds as well, and depending on size, the position of the switches changes. Would you solve this with wireless switches? That was at least my idea. They could be moved relatively easily to another spot.

What I also forgot to mention: it is planned as a Homematic-IP smart home.
