Electric roller shutters with timer?

Hello We have a half-timbered house with shingles and want to have roller shutters installed. We were told that it would not work with a strap because of the strap routing. We were offered electric ones. That, in turn, would call the electrician who would install a power outlet at each window in the house. That, in turn, would be a problem because we have just renovated. However, if we took the roller shutters with a timer for 500€ more, the electrician would not be needed. We do not understand that. Why would the electrician then not be needed???? Best regards from a small town in Hesse, TM

Thanks, I understand, but the roller shutters do need electricity to execute the commands of the remote control. So, an electrician after all!? Regards, TM
