Give it a try with paint stripper. Maybe it will bite in and bam, you rinse it off. Dilunett is good. It eats away almost everything, even chlorinated rubber paint, and that one is really tough. Karsten

Alright, thanks for the tip. I will definitely give it a try. If it doesn't work, I can always use it for my garage door. So do I have to order that stuff as well, or is that nonsense if you’re going to paint it right away anyway? Otherwise, presumably a drop of paint will never stick again.

That is nonsense. You don't want to paint mahogany with high gloss. Wash off the stripper, if necessary with some Danklorix in the washing water, and that's fine. Warning Dilunett is fractious. Gloves! Karsten

Tiptop, thanks to you! I don't know either but some companies are overly precise about it or just want to sell their stuff

darn, paint stripper, klorix, hey!!!! are you serious???

RENOVATION MILL
rent it and go for it. afterwards brush off or wash off the dust.
a little water doesn’t hurt, then the new plaster won’t dry so fast.

Isn't there also a disc for the regular angle grinder? That would of course also be an option to try.
