Earth house

Hello everyone.

Is it allowed in Germany to build an earth house by yourself?
Earth houses are such houses as seen in [Herr der Ringe].

What regulations do I have to comply with and what costs will I incur if I have to register phone, electricity, toilet, water, and sewage etc. with the city or wherever I have to register it.

I would appreciate your answers.

I wouldn't know any reason against it. Quite a few architects have already taken up this topic, and the houses—especially those built above a valley—are only recognizable as such by the glass front.

No one can answer that like this. Go to an architect of your choice with your land documents and discuss the possibilities and costs with them. Without an architect, you can forget such a project, as you will not get approval.

The costs depend on the total construction sum of your project and are calculated according to the HOAI - fee schedule for architects and engineers.

Why is only one architect entitled to submit [vorlageberechtigt], which laws determine that and what does [vorlageberechtigt] mean? If I cannot afford an architect, is there an alternative for self-builders? I want to build the house myself and it will only be a one-room with bathroom/WC.
