Hello everyone! We have a question regarding the house drainage (conversion of barn to apartment), specifically wastewater pipes for bathroom and kitchen. We have the option to lay the pipes outside around the house or through the house. We have gathered some opinions and they are all different. Some say if possible, definitely outside around, others say why not inside through. The drainage pipes will be connected to the yard's own 3-chamber system. We are simply unsure what the best way is. Through the house is of course much shorter. On the other hand, if you ever need to access the pipes, outside around would obviously be much better. What are your opinions on this and especially why? Thanks for your help! Best regards - wilsumer -

Is it really cheaper under the house despite the shorter route? I believe it costs extra and could balance out in terms of cost.

Honestly, I don't know. I guess it doesn't make much difference, as you already said. We are interested in the whole thing independently (unless one option is significantly more expensive) of the costs.
