Hello everyone,
we bought our kitchen in 2010 and equipped it with a LAGAN sink (now called Boholmen).
In the meantime, the rubber disc of the drain stopper has apparently deformed so much that in the "open" position almost no water flows through. Now I would like to replace the sink stopper – but during a recent visit to Ikea I found out that some time ago (2011?) the head of the Atlant siphon was changed and accordingly the (new) sink stopper no longer fits.
I found the recommendation to replace the siphon completely quite ... well, inappropriate. Because the siphon is not the problem – besides, I am glad that everything is tight (and stays that way). True to the motto: "Never change a running system."
Has anyone had a similar problem – and found a solution? That is, installed an alternative sink stopper or adapted the "new" sink stopper to the "old" siphon (by cutting or similar)...?
