Hello everyone, what do you think of the dormer at the top and the bay window at the bottom. These are not aligned but slightly offset. Does it look strange?

It is meant to bring more daylight into the children's room upstairs since only one large window on the north side was planned. So now there is also a window on the front west side. We wanted to avoid roof windows everywhere.

Looks shitty. I would have it planned differently.

What exactly looks shitty? A gable roof was mandatory. Roof pitch is predetermined. The house must be single-story. If the top were designed differently or if brick cladding were extended upwards, this would probably not be permitted because then it would not belong to the roof but to the floor.

He probably means the offset one. But you are also withholding important information. Show me the ground floor plan and the site plan.

This is how it looks on the ground floor.. The bay window makes the kitchen bigger.

This is now at least the 4th thread about the overall floor plan, which is increasingly being changed in partial areas and where eventually nothing fits together anymore.

This thing with the additional snap on the wall, where you would otherwise place a cupboard, is by the way the best example of what some users here have been preaching for about a week, that you have to see a house as a whole and not as a composition of its individual rooms.
