The connection to the wallpaper, do you mean that there is then a gap between the frame and the wall that I have to fill with acrylic? I wouldn’t have this gap with the smaller frame then? The 65mm should actually be everywhere, it is a prefabricated house, the wall has been 65mm thick at all measured points so far

I meant the groove. Well, if everything fits, all the better. If necessary, order one first and try it out

We were advised against acrylic: It looks good the first year. After that, it yellows and tends to crack. And removing it again is a punishment.

The problem is that shipping costs apply if I stay under €500, so I would prefer to order everything at once. But I will measure the walls exactly again tomorrow.

How did you then seal the joints? Or were there no joints at all or so minimal that you didn't have to do anything?

Such joints are "maintenance joints" and must be renewed. One must consider each individual case. It also makes a difference whether the joint is 1mm or 8 mm. There are many "pros" and just as many "cons."

There are gaps. But the doors were only installed a week ago. We are not in a hurry yet.
