Hello, I am not a construction expert, but the door passage to the bathroom in my house somehow doesn't look right. Or is this how it is done nowadays? Should I complain about it - I only know it so that there is a continuous lintel above the door. Regards, André

That looks like a KS-encased and cast concrete lintel.

That means: from the side, the KS block is a U-profile, which is filled with continuous concrete.

But unfortunately, my X-ray eyes are currently on vacation.

Therefore, better ask the builder what it is.

On both sides, a roof batten is nailed on so that the stones do not fall down, it somehow looks like botched work to me.

How do you know that the battens serve exactly this purpose?

Then get an expert to analyze the content of the stones. I am guessing this:

Okay, why would you install such a lintel? And not a normal concrete lintel?

Why shouldn't you install a KS lintel in a KS house? Cracks? Different expansion? I'm not an expert, but to me, a house made of sand-lime brick should also have a lintel made of sand-lime brick. And inside, there is also concrete.
