Hello everyone, we have bought a 2.50m Pax with two 1m carcasses and one 0.5m carcass. At home, we realized that the space between the bed and the wardrobe is quite tight for hinged doors, so we want sliding doors instead, but unfortunately, Ikea no longer sells them in a width of 2.50. Now I have found a suitable pair of used sliding doors (the ones with the cherry blossom pattern), but I am not sure

1) whether old sliding doors fit new carcasses at all
2) whether it works with the carcass division of 1m-1m-0.5m (in the corresponding description it is 0.75-0.5-0.5-0.75)
3) whether the ceiling height of about 2.42m would be sufficient

Maybe someone can help me, that would be great!

Best regards!

Hello,

1) Yes.
2) Take a look in the manual to see at which points the bottom rail has cutouts for the side walls of the carcasses.
3) The doors are each 1.25 cm wide. With a different layout than with the 75 cm carcasses, there will always be one element that is not fully accessible.
