Does the explosive ordnance disposal service accept the property as is?

Hello everyone, I am new here in the forum. I also have a question for you right away :) we would like to build in NRW, we already have the building permit. The last problem is the bomb disposal service, we had to submit a second application because the city clerk made a mistake! We have now prepared the property accordingly and I wanted to ask you if you think the disposal service will accept the property like this? because we have a pile of earth on the property. I will try to send photos as attachments! Thank you very much for your answers. P.S. if I am in the wrong place here, please move it :) Regards Pascal

A little more information wouldn't hurt. Why should he even come? Is there a concrete suspicion? Normally, they only come when something is found.

OK sorry :) the aerial image analysis showed that there was artillery fire. The bomb disposal service is now supposed to do a surface detection. So, a search once. I hope that is enough? Thanks :)

Hi,
it would not have been okay like that for us!
Announcement from the [Kampfmittelräumdienst Arnsberg]: building structure +1 m on each side must be excavated down to the natural ground.

Fingers crossed they search it thoroughly like that.

Best regards Tina

I think I have to say that it will be a semi-detached house. To the left, where the greenery still is, that is another property. And to the right, the shell of another person's building is already standing. That means I cannot clear anything to the left or right! The soil has already been removed once! It’s basically about the hill where the car is parked. Or does a surface detection only search where the house is basically deconstructed? I hope you understand what I mean :) Thank you

Hello Braysa1103

The probes normally go 1 meter deep. If there is a hill there, there will be problems with the depth.
Arie Beschuss is not that bad. If there is an unexploded grenade, it will not detonate by itself. The slowly decomposing bombs are much more dangerous. They have a tensioned fuse, grenades do not.
I would call the bomb disposal service and ask. If they come twice, it costs twice.
