You don't have to run to Lutz, but such tables are just in style right now... They are really everywhere. Thick solid wood top and steel frame... You can buy the same quality for 1000 or 5000 euros, they are just furniture, the margin is like in mattress stores...

There are quite a few stores that are even specializing in such tables at the moment, often local providers. They usually have 3 to 4 different steel frames and a selection of solid wood slats, and only do the final assembly and finishing. Usually quite cheap for the highest quality... Just with a manageable margin and through volume...

I also know that people fall in love with overpriced stuff, but just don't keep looking around to see if it's cheaper somewhere else after buying... Happens way too often
