No. But honestly: if you don't have any drawings or anything else yet, I wouldn't plan shower cabins either. The drawings should be available with the notary contract. If you don't have any yet, then you haven't bought it yet? I think there are more important things to plan. If necessary, you put up a shower curtain and install the doors after moving in.

How does that fit with a new build? It's not the height of the glass cabin that matters, but the possibility to ventilate. Are there windows? Or will there be a closed room added to the little room for dwarfs? Tell me more about the bathroom. If the entire room only has a ceiling height of 2.10m, that should actually be a deal-breaker for the buyer in a new build. When reselling, this kind of bathroom will definitely backfire on you.

Thank you for your feedback! Here are some details about the bathroom:

- it is another bathroom in the attic of our semi-detached house, which was optionally planned. We decided to go for it
- there is a skylight for ventilating the room
- up to the dashed line, the room is 210cm high. After that, the ceiling slopes down to a room height of about 120cm at the end of the skylight

For better illustration, I have attached a sketch of the room layout. I hope this makes the planning a bit clearer.

Thank you!

The door of the shower cabin can be left open to dry. However, I would turn the bathroom door to the ajar position and extend the shower area further downwards according to the plan. Then the cabin door can open inward to the right according to the plan.

I read your information like this.

I have drawn a line at 1.8m. The toilet should be a bit to the left. Currently, there is only 1.8m standing height there. Otherwise, you need the sign.

I would suggest the shower enclosure to be only 1.8m high.

The front edge of a toilet should be at a height of at least 2 meters. Perhaps the [Dachflächenfenster] could help here?
