Yes, it says below:

"Note:
The specified cost breakdown are estimated approximate costs. Therefore, at this time no claim to completeness can be made."

Can the costs now rise infinitely? I mean, I can still accept 15-20%. Meanwhile, we are over 45%!

And what did the company answer to that?

What does a cost estimate from the competition look like? Is it clear where the cost driver is, or is there still discussion over flat rates? And just to be sure: Has any work already been done? That wasn’t quite clear yet.

We have not received an answer to that yet :-(

The estimate from the competition is being made – but we think it will not be cheaper. At the moment, there is still discussion about flat rates. Due to a sewage pipe that can no longer be used, it is to be renewed. Cost point €150,000 more.

Already €50,000 of the estimated €450,000 has been paid. The contract also states that payment is made according to the "construction progress." So far, one of the two houses has been demolished.

Hmm, then the cost increase is transparent if a channel now has to be renewed. In this respect, it is understandable that it becomes more expensive (higher, previously unforeseeable scope of work). Definitely very annoying and whether another offer can change anything about it ... fingers crossed

It was like that with the earthworks for us. 20k was budgeted, but a few more cubic meters had to be added. 5k more! I couldn’t stop talking, but it was transparent and comprehensible, although more than annoying!
