Hello,
we signed a contract because we had a contact in the company without checking it. Among other things, we do not have a completion date in our contract. Since the start of construction was delayed, we became increasingly skeptical; actually, we were supposed to receive various documents before construction began, which I have only partially received after repeated inquiries. So far, we have paid only 5% of the contract amount after submitting the building application.
Construction began last week, company X carried out the civil engineering work, the main builder has a strange name which made me skeptical again. I then inquired about the name of the masonry company at HWK Wiesbaden, and they informed me that this company is not registered in the crafts register.
What do you think I should do now?
Does the subcontractor of the developer have to be registered in the crafts register if they are doing all the shell construction work?
