Hello

I am new here and have a few questions about development.

I have a plot of land that still needs to be connected to the utility lines (sewer, gray water, telephone, electricity).

We want to do all this ourselves at the beginning of August so that we can start in spring 2015.
Earthworks for everything, connect the sewer, lay the gray water pipe up to the property (connection to the main line will be made by the municipality).

Do I just go to the municipality, E.ON and Telekom and say that someone needs to come and connect on 6.8., or how does the whole process work?
Am I allowed to connect the sewer myself at the existing branch?

Sewer no. Water no. Electricity no. Telekom no idea. For us, the sewer could be laid by us / an external company up to the connection point, the connection to the network had to be done by the municipality's company. The water pipe had to be completely done by the municipality up to the final transfer point in the house. Electricity was the same. You could have taken over the digging in advance, nothing else. I wish you good luck. Only 4 weeks lead time and then during the holidays? It will hardly work. For us, it took 3 months between the application and the connection. And: for us it was like this: no building, no connection. Do they want to set up the multi-tenant connection and the transfer points themselves? There are separate applications for construction electricity and construction water.

Yes, the 4 weeks will be tight, we'll see. But when I look at a developed undeveloped plot, I see some lines coming out of the ground. That's how it should be done for us too. And those are the supply lines like water, sewage, electricity.

You have to pay the connection costs anyway as a flat rate. A few meters are included in the price (with us, I believe, 12.5 meters). What do you want to take the work away from them now? And digging will be done when the house and the supply installation are inside the house. Telekom is handled by Stromfreddi.

But I can already lay or have the cables laid towards the house in advance. Why should that only be possible if the house is already standing? After all, you can also buy plots of land where the cables are already coming out of the ground.

That's what the providers do when they can connect immediately. Period. That's included in the price! There is no discount!
