The word _design_ in design flooring basically says nothing about the quality or the ingredients.
It's just a term... and if you google it, it's also just vinyl.

Oh, and what is it then? Probably not linoleum. A polyurethane compound? That's possible. Is it healthier? It's not free of plasticizers either. Come on, don't be fooled. It's always chemistry. Karsten

According to the manufacturer, the purline bio floor is a polyurethane flooring that consists of up to 90% renewable raw materials and natural fillers such as chalk, rapeseed oil, or castor oil. PVC-free, without chlorine, plasticizers, and solvents.

Instead of petroleum, rapeseed oil; google what PU is and how dangerous the precursors are. Only cured PU is actually harmless. Cured PVC is too. If they want to work completely without plasticizers, they probably put silicon in. I just want to say, none of this is really bio. Always big chemicals, always Bayer or BASF. If you want nature, take real wood. Not design wood. Karsten

That is totally twisted. Some organic labels are being shopped. 5 minutes later, the little one licks through the sandbox once.
