I am also interested in the topic because I am looking for suitable thermal insulation behind my radiators.

Plastic and chemicals are out of the question for me because both lose their original properties relatively quickly due to the regular temperature differences.

Styrofoam, for example, does not insulate at all. The manufacturers have gone so far as to form a cartel and even created their own "certification body" in Munich. It probably doesn’t get much more shameless than that to deceive customers!! See also "the insulation scam" on YouTube.

If the question about the solid wood house is still relevant, search on YouTube for; KenFM > Die Macher > Erwin Thoma - Holz100 Important to watch both parts Or on the KenFM website.

Thoma has been developing, building, and selling solid wood houses for years, without chemical components and offers a 10-year! warranty. Or travel to Russia, where solid wood construction has been practiced for <100 years. Also without chemicals.

I tend toward insulation between cork and Mondholz panels. Has anyone had experience with this?

Sorry, but you apparently have too much experience with conspiracy theories. You can think what you want about plastics, but to claim that Styrofoam does not insulate? Seriously? Have you ever touched Styrofoam? Or used Styrofoam coolers filled with ice as drink storage at a party? I can't believe it...

But please be present during the production of [mondholz]. Don't let anything be slipped to you there (certificate fraud)

Ah. Satire.

As soon as you trap air in plastic bubbles, it suddenly conducts heat much better than before. One must know that.

The ice in coolers is fake ice. Real ice melts there just as quickly as without.

( may I join in now? )
