800 cubic meters of disposal material is a lot. At 20 euros, they might estimate the built-up space.

I also don’t understand how they come up with that, especially given the rough estimate you mentioned. Unfortunately, it is not clear how these 800 cubic meters were determined. I mean, the house has just under 70 sqm footprint in the basement and ground floor and a developed attic, a “basement terrace” of maybe 12 sqm and a few concrete slabs (paths) and that’s basically it. The gross floor area is stated as 280 sqm. How much can actually add up there?! It can really only be that they are talking about the built-up space and not the actual volume of disposal material, which also roughly fits based on the sqm.

And, are you by now "smarter" about the topic?

Not really, the whole thing is "on hold" because the ZV appointments have all been postponed due to Corona. We are continuing to look around for plots of land and existing properties in the meantime.

I am asking because we are currently also looking for real estate ("newer" existing property) or land. We have now found a plot in a good location with an existing building. The price is negotiable - unfortunately still not "cheap" in the Hamburg metropolitan area. And I am currently trying to get a feeling for what you have to calculate here, etc. .... You learn with every round. :-)

Understandable ;) nothing will happen on the foreclosure front here until at least mid-February. I have only heard reports of experiences. Is "your" property also a foreclosure or a normal sale?
