The BU seems to contradict himself after all. His argument is that the screed on top dries too quickly and therefore the moisture below can no longer escape. But he suggests heaters that make the surface of the screed dry faster. Isn't that contradictory?!?

According to our screed installer, heating should be started no earlier than after 21 days; later would not have been a problem according to him. However, he advised us against using [Bautrockner] to avoid [Schüsseln].

Therefore, I would view the one-week delay relatively calmly.

Could it be that the schedule of your BU has drastically changed due to the shift on your construction?!? That is probably more likely his motive.

No screed in this world needs a heat source (e.g., underfloor heating) to dry!!

: No, that’s not the reason, since the subsequent work except for the installation of the stairs and room doors will be done by me. Well, so the screed can’t be harmed. Can mold develop since the house is not heated during this season? I should be able to see it, right, or does it only become visible much later? Ok, partly it is heated by the construction dryers. Looking forward to your comments that will give me some reassurance that it’s not as dramatic as the building supervisor suggests. Thanks
