Decision on the roof color - gray/black?

Thank you for the answer, however my question was aimed at the original poster's query, i.e. window color RAL 7016, house white, and now the suitable color for the roof needs to be found. This will be covered with Braas Tegalit, which is why slate gray or granite are the closer options.

Granite has a yellow tint, slate gray a blue tint.

The decision is up to you. I don’t think anyone can still remember “their” color, those who have already finished their house.

We have the combination with granite and I find it perfect. The house is a very light, warm gray.

The granite tone is more of a warm gray tone, but definitely does not appear brown. Overall, it looks very harmonious. We also have the roof soffit in 7016.
The windows in 7016 are such a dark gray that any slightly lighter shade matches. I would rather avoid black; I could imagine that the gray windows next to it would appear pale. But I don't really like black anyway.

But today I took the samples outside, slate gray appears too light, black is out of the question anyway, so we are also considering granite. Do you have a picture of your house handy? Roof under-view 7016 apparently fits well with the color granite.

Honestly, I wouldn’t worry too much about the color. You will really only see your roof from some distance. And whether it’s black or granite probably won’t make much of a difference.

Exactly because of this comment, you shouldn’t worry so much about the color. Take what you like better and move on to the next decision.

At night all cats are gray - I believe this applies similarly to patterns viewed outside in winter.
