Hello everyone,
the developer currently states spring 2018 as the completion date and does not specify it further. In addition, we can only start the owner-performed work (flooring, kitchen, etc.) then. So our moving date is far from fixed, but we have a six-month notice period for the current rental apartment.
How would you proceed here to ensure a smooth transition? Is it common to give notice as a precaution and have one or two extension months confirmed in writing? Due to the current market situation, I do not expect any problems with re-renting, so the landlord actually should not have to worry about vacancy...
Thanks and regards
