Dark terrace slabs - How warm/hot do they get in summer?

Who has the dark terrace slabs and already at least one summer behind them?

Currently, we are choosing the slabs, but I am concerned that the dark ones simply become too hot in the sun, so that you can no longer walk barefoot on them. Experience from last year's vacation shows that the heating is strongly dependent on the color.

And how prone are they to dirt? With light ones, dust and pollen are more easily concealed.

We have light gray concrete stones on our terrace (noch Mietwohnung) and a complete south side. In summer, with full sunlight, the children can hardly walk on the light surface. So I think it doesn't make much difference. Hot stays hot whether light or dark.

To reflect so much that the heating on a full sunny day in summer allows walking barefoot, the plates would have to be almost dazzling.

Without shading, difficult.

Try using the search, there is already a fairly extensive thread on that...

We have laid our provisional terrace with the driveway pavers. Anthracite. On the weekend, when the weather was so nice, it already became slightly uncomfortable by early afternoon.

Hello, we have painted our Bangkirai terrace in a very very dark brown (almost black). Where the sun hits, it gets warm under the bare feet.
