Cutting walls 11.5 / Alternatives

Horizontal and angled slots in 11.5 MW are not permitted. That should especially be known by the electrician.

I have read it the same way. What alternatives would there be?

The old empty conduits that are already in the masonry are unfortunately too thin for NYM and network cables.

Put a drywall in front of it!?

Why actually a NYM cable in a conduit and not individual wires? Then you might be able to use the existing conduit. There probably aren’t many alternatives if it is forbidden. A facing wall for a few cables... Well, if you have space, okay, but somehow pointless if it’s just about 2 cables. Especially since, in my opinion, the latter can also be replaced with Wi-Fi.

The question is who forbids the chasing in which context. One can also question things sometimes. Is it perhaps a standard that applies to new buildings? I mean the wall is currently also chased and still standing. What about the further wall construction, if there is very thick plaster on it, maybe you can chase in the plaster and then plaster over the conduit again.
