Cut parquet lengthwise

Hello everyone, which saw is best for cutting parquet lengthwise? Normally the long edges are covered by baseboards, but I have a floor convector where I need to lay parquet lengthwise. A cut with a jigsaw doesn't look good there. The problem is that the parquet is 220 cm long. What tool do you recommend? I was thinking of a circular saw or table saw... with a long guide rail (if such a size even exists). What other tips do you have? Thanks

A circular saw is definitely the choice. Almost every well-known manufacturer offers a guide rail as an accessory, on which the saw is placed and thus automatically "stays on track." Something like that should be available at the local tool rental/hardware store. Definitely use a new blade and test the cutting quality on a scrap piece beforehand.

My father-in-law still has a table saw, would that also work? He says no, but if you have the appropriate guide rail, it should work with that too, right?

Table saw will certainly work, it comes with a parallel guide by default. Alternatively, you mark the measurements and have it cut by a carpenter. He has the right tools.

But with the table saw, make sure the blade is not too coarse.
