I have the cwl-300 with a cross heat exchanger and yes, in winter the humidity can drop to about 30%.

Now about enthalpy exchangers where there is heat and moisture, there are also all kinds of germs etc. that's just how it is in nature... that means without constant and thorough cleaning of this type of heat exchanger, an increase in germs is to be expected...

What this leads to can be clearly seen in poorly maintained air conditioning systems
