Criteria for a good wood-burning stove

after nearly completing the construction of my new house, I would now like to get a wood stove for the winter. My question is:

What quality features must a good wood stove have?
What should be considered? KW value adjusted to the house size, etc.
Are cheap stoves any good?

It totally depends on what you want to achieve with your fireplace. Do you want to heat? Then you need power and a somewhat larger one. Do you mainly want coziness? Then a "Baumarktkamin" will do. If you want a fireplace that you don't have to clean constantly down to the hinges, then it gets more expensive again, and so on. [Raumluftunabhängig]? Then go straight to a studio and avoid [Baumärkte].

But that doesn't matter in terms of hobby: if a controlled residential ventilation system is installed, the stove should be certified - then the BZSF decides whether it will be approved without conditions.

P.S. You can also get room-air-independent ones at the hardware store, just not with all dimensions, sizes, and features.
