Hello. I want to buy a house in Hungary and it shows the cracks documented in the pictures - for better visibility, the respective link can also be clicked.

I have learned the following key data about the house: - about 60 years old (so built around the mid-1950s) - the roof was renewed about 10 years ago (around 2006) (rafters? and tiles) - in the Google Street View from July 2014, the cracks can already be seen - without noticeable change in the last two and a half years

Inside, there are also cracks everywhere, mostly parallel to the ceiling, but also some larger cracks near doors, which I believe were rather diagonal. There are also many cracks on the ceilings. Unfortunately, I was not able to take any pictures of the interior walls and ceilings.

Do the cracks look like they affect the structural stability?

I would be very grateful if someone could give me expert advice on the cracks.

Thank you very much in advance.

Do you only buy based on pictures or have you also been on site? Maybe with someone who knows about the subject.

I took the pictures myself yesterday. Unfortunately, I don’t have anyone who knows about this – and an expert (architect, structural engineer, etc.) is probably quite expensive. Can anything be inferred from the pictures, or what should I pay attention to at the next on-site appointment?

what kind of argument is "quite expensive"?

you're not buying a washing machine for 300 euros anyway

The problem is that I generally don't know anyone here and am not proficient in the language. Therefore, I thought I might find some support in this forum.
