What I find most unpleasant now is that such a silicone sealant has to be replaced regularly. :-(

If at least 1 year is waited before the joint is closed with silicone, cracks can still occur afterwards. The house is "still working" after all.

Sorry, didn't mean to be a smartass, but I know the usual practice of skimming and then usually only a fragment sticks; mostly the incomplete part.

Good morning

The settling of the floor / screed depends on the construction of the thermal and impact sound insulation.
A high construction and soft material lead to deeper settling. But heavy loads, such as large drinking water tanks, also increase this effect.

Glue the base and have it sealed only after 3 months
